Verify that when many hypotheses, subgroups, or endpoints were tested, the inflated chance of a false positive was addressed. Testing twenty relationships at the usual threshold expects about one to appear significant by chance alone, so a single "significant" finding pulled from many comparisons may be noise. Confirm the analysis corrects for multiplicity or flags the result as exploratory, and mark any headline finding that emerged from many untracked tests.
