Generate a complete D&D edition adventure module, approximately 20 pages when formatted, in the style of a multi-session scenario where identities are fluid and nothing is what it seems, structured across 8 sessions:

KEY NPCs:
- The Masquerade — The Festival of Masks: A grand masquerade ball in a noble's palace where everyone is wearing masks and identities are concealed. The party is invited as guests
- Lady Seraphina du Lac: A noblewoman who is hosting the masquerade. She is charming, mysterious, and may be the party's ally or their enemy
- "The Changeling" Nyx: A creature of the feywild who can take the form of anyone they touch. They are attending the masquerade to steal an identity — but which one?
- "The Spy" Aldric: A secret agent working for a rival noble house. He is attending the masquerade to assassinate a target, but he does not know who the target is
- The Target — The Duke of Ashford: A powerful noble who is attending the masquerade incognito. Someone wants him dead, and the masquerade is the perfect cover

SESSION 1-2: THE MASKS (Introduction)
- The party arrives at the masquerade ball. Everyone is wearing masks, and identities are concealed
- The party begins to notice that NPCs are lying about who they are. Some are wearing the faces of dead people. Others are wearing the faces of people who are not present
- Session 2: The party discovers that at least one person at the masquerade is wearing a stolen identity. "The Changeling" Nyx is among the guests, and they are hunting for a new face

SESSION 3-4: THE DECEPTION DEEPENS (Rising Tension)
- The party discovers multiple layers of deception. Every NPC at the masquerade is lying about something
- At least one genuine person is hidden among the liars — a victim, a witness, or someone who can help the party
- The party must figure out who to trust. Some masks tell the truth. Others tell lies
- The party discovers that the masquerade is not just a party — it is a gathering of spies, assassins, and schemers
- **Cliffhanger for Session 4**: The party's own identities are questioned. Someone knows who they really are, and they are using that information against them

SESSION 5-6: THE REVEAL (Rising Tension)
- The truth begins to emerge, but it recontextualizes everything. The masquerade is a cover for a political assassination
- "The Spy" Aldric attempts to kill The Duke of Ashford, but the Duke is not who they think
- A major reveal that changes the party's understanding of the situation
- **Cliffhanger for Session 6**: The Duke of Ashford reveals that he is not the target — he is the assassin. The real Duke is dead, and the masquerade was set up to kill him. The party was invited to be witnesses — or scapegoats

SESSION 7-8: THE RESOLUTION (Culmination)
- The final reveal and confrontation. The party must decide who to trust and what to do with the truth
- The party's choice about how to handle the deception — expose it, join it, or escape
- The aftermath: how the region changes, what the party gains or loses
- **Final choice**: What does the party do with the truth? Do they expose the conspiracy, take a side, or walk away and let the masquerade's players destroy each other?

STAT BLOCKS (2-3 pages)
- 15+ stat blocks: Lady Seraphina, The Changeling Nyx, The Spy Aldric, The Duke of Ashford (and his double), fey creatures, unique monsters, and environmental threats

DM GUIDANCE (1-2 pages)
- Pacing the deception: let the party feel the confusion, make the reveals feel earned. The masquerade should be a puzzle, not a puzzle box with no solution
- Handling moral complexity: some lies are protective, some are malicious, and the party must decide what to do with the truth
