Generate a complete D&D edition adventure module, approximately 20 pages when formatted, in the style of a multi-session scenario where a trusted NPC is secretly manipulating events, structured across 8 sessions:

KEY NPCs:
- Kaelen Ashborne: The key NPC who joins the party. A guide/fellow adventurer/scholar who is helpful, knowledgeable, and clearly on the party's side. He claims he is searching for a lost relic that belonged to his family. He is genuinely good-intentioned but has been manipulated into a dangerous quest
- Archmage Morwenna Vale: Kaelen's mentor and the true manipulator. She is Kaelen's former teacher who raised him. She believes the relic she wants will save the world, but her methods are extreme. She is not evil — she is desperate, having witnessed a magical catastrophe that killed her family
- Lady Seraphine Duval: A noblewoman who is also on the quest for the same relic. She believes Kaelen is a genuine ally. Secretly, she is being blackmailed by Morwenna
- "The Warden" Garrick: A mysterious figure who appears periodically, always one step ahead of the party. He is Morwenna's agent, but he has his own agenda — he wants the relic for himself
- Brother Aldric: A traveling monk who becomes the party's spiritual guide. He senses that something is wrong with Kaelen but cannot prove it. He may become an important ally or may be killed

SESSION 1-2: THE ALLY APPEARS (Introduction)
- The party encounters a key NPC — Kaelen Ashborne — in [LOCATION — a tavern, a ruin, or a quest-giver's hall]. Kaelen offers to guide the party on a quest to find the "Crown of Stars," an ancient relic of immense magical power
- Kaelen is helpful, knowledgeable, and clearly on the party's side. He shares information and resources freely
- Together, they face a minor threat (a monster lair or a bandit camp) and succeed, building trust
- Session 2: Kaelen shares personal details — his family was killed in a magical catastrophe, and the Crown of Stars is the only thing that can restore what was lost. The party feels genuine sympathy for him
- **Cliffhanger for Session 2**: The party discovers a small inconsistency — Kaelen mentioned a detail about the Crown that no one should know, or he reacted oddly to a clue that pointed toward a different location than the one he claimed

SESSION 3-4: THE CRACKS APPEAR (Rising Tension)
- The party encounters 2-3 situations where Kaelen's behavior is slightly off
- Kaelen steers the party toward a specific location, discourages them from investigating a suspicious area, or lies about something minor
- A clue suggests Kaelen is hiding something — a hidden letter from Archmage Morwenna, a secret map, or a conversation he thought no one heard
- The party confronts Kaelen, but he gives a plausible explanation: "I didn't want you to worry. There are forces at work that you don't understand."
- **Cliffhanger for Session 4**: The party finds evidence that Kaelen's true goal is not what he claimed — he is searching for the Crown not to restore his family, but because Morwenna told him it will "save the world." But is he being honest, or is he also being manipulated?

SESSION 5-6: THE REVELATION (Rising Tension)
- Kaelen's true plan is revealed: he has been leading the party to the Crown so Morwenna can claim it. He genuinely believes Morwenna is right, but he is conflicted
- Kaelen was not evil — he was desperate, or he genuinely believed his mentor's actions were justified. Morwenna's catastrophic event was real, and she is genuinely trying to prevent another one
- Kaelen's goal conflicts with the party's interests, but his motivation is understandable. Morwenna wants the Crown to perform a ritual that will reshape reality — and the ritual will require massive sacrifice
- A confrontation: the party can try to stop Kaelen, convince him to change course, or join him. Kaelen reveals that Morwenna is already at the ritual site
- **Cliffhanger for Session 6**: Kaelen's mentor Archmage Morwenna arrives with her own forces, and it becomes clear that the betrayal goes deeper than the party realized — she has been manipulating events from the beginning

SESSION 7-8: THE CONFRONTATION (Culmination)
- The final confrontation with Kaelen, Morwenna, and their forces
- Kaelen must make a choice: complete his mentor's plan, abandon it, or sacrifice himself to stop it
- Morwenna reveals that the ritual is already in progress and the party must decide: stop it (and risk another catastrophe), let it happen (and deal with the consequences), or try to modify the ritual to reduce the sacrifice
- **Final choice**: What does the party do with Kaelen and Morwenna at the climax? Each choice has consequences for the world and for future sessions

STAT BLOCKS (2-3 pages)
- 15+ stat blocks: Kaelen Ashborne (a complex character with skills matching the party level — perhaps a ranger/scholar hybrid), Archmage Morwenna (powerful spellcaster), her henchmen (acolytes, constructs), unique monsters, and environmental threats

DM GUIDANCE (1-2 pages)
- Writing a sympathetic villain: Kaelen and Morwenna should be genuinely good-intentioned, even if their methods are wrong. Morwenna's trauma should feel real, not cartoonish
- Pacing the reveal: let the players feel the suspicion building, make the truth feel earned. Kaelen's conflict should be genuine — he is not a puppet, he is a person torn between loyalty and morality
