- One-sentence DM hook
- Summary: the PCs explore a dungeon complex where a sanctuary or temple of a benevolent deity lies beneath the monsters. The dungeon tests the characters' morality
- The sanctuary's deity, leader, and purpose

2. THE NEARBY SETTLEMENT (1-2 pages)
- A village threatened by or benefiting from the dungeon
- 4-5 locations: village church, tavern, meeting hall, farmsteads, dungeon entrance
- 4-5 NPCs: priestess/priest, village elder, hero who found the sanctuary, monster who was corrupted
- The settlement's relationship with the dungeon

3. THE UPPER DUNGEON -- MONSTER TERRITORY (2-3 pages)

- Monster societies and conflicts
- Treasure and traps in monster lairs
- Clues that something good lies deeper
- Moral choices: slaughter or find another way

- The boundary between monster territory and sanctuary
- Environmental change: cleaner, warmer, peaceful
- A guardian or test proving worthiness
- A neutral area where monsters and sanctuary dwellers coexist

5. THE SANCTUARY (2-3 pages)
- Describe the sanctuary in detail: peaceful, beautiful, well-defended
- The people of the sanctuary
- The sanctuary's purpose and defenses
- The threat against the sanctuary
- The final battle to protect it

6. THE SANCTUARY'S SECRET (1-2 pages)
- What the sanctuary protects or guards
- The true nature of the evil threatening the sanctuary
- Resolution options: defense, counterattack, negotiation

7. STAT BLOCKS (1-2 pages)
- 12-15 stat blocks for monsters, defenders, bosses

8. DM GUIDANCE (1 page)
- Running a dungeon with moral complexity
- Sequel hooks
