Generate a complete D&D edition adventure module, approximately 10-14 pages when formatted, in the style of a dungeon crawl with a moral/sanctuary twist with the following sections: 1. OVERVIEW (1 page) - Title (create an evocative name for a dungeon with a sanctuary theme) - Level range: 2-8 - One-sentence DM hook - Summary: the PCs explore a dungeon complex where a sanctuary or temple of a benevolent deity lies beneath the monsters. The dungeon is both a trial and a test of the characters' morality - The sanctuary: what deity it serves, who runs it, and what it protects 2. THE SETTLEMENT NEARBY (1.5 pages) - A village or town that benefits from or is threatened by the dungeon - 4-5 locations: the village church/shrine, tavern, meeting hall, farmsteads, the dungeon entrance - 4-5 NPCs: a priestess/priest of the benevolent deity, the village elder, a hero who found the sanctuary, a monster who has been corrupted - The settlement's relationship with the dungeon: fear, hope, or exploitation 3. THE UPPER DUNGEON -- MONSTER TERRITORY (2-3 pages) - The upper levels are controlled by monsters and evil creatures - 3-4 distinct areas: - Each area should be a monster territory with clear leader and purpose - The monsters should have their own society and conflicts - Treasure and traps in monster lairs - Clues that something good lies deeper in the dungeon - A moral choice: will the PCs slaughter everything, or find another way? 4. THE TRANSITION AREA (1-2 pages) - The boundary between the monster territory and the sanctuary - Environmental change: the dungeon becomes cleaner, warmer, or more peaceful - A guardian or test: proving worthiness to enter the sanctuary - A neutral area where monsters and sanctuary dwellers might coexist 5. THE SANCTUARY/TEMPLE (2-3 pages) - Describe the sanctuary in detail: peaceful, beautiful, well-defended - The people of the sanctuary: who they are, what they believe, what they fear - The sanctuary's purpose: protecting something sacred, healing, or preserving knowledge - The sanctuary's defenses: priests, paladins, magical protections - The threat: who is attacking the sanctuary and why - The final battle to protect or rescue the sanctuary 6. THE SANCTUARY'S SECRET (1-2 pages) - The sanctuary protects or guards something powerful (an artifact, a holy site, a prisoner) - What happens if the sanctuary falls - The true nature of the evil threatening the sanctuary - Resolution options: defense, counterattack, negotiation 7. STAT BLOCKS (1-2 pages) - 12-15 stat blocks for monsters, sanctuary defenders, bosses 8. DM GUIDANCE (1 page) - Running a dungeon with moral complexity - Making the sanctuary feel worth defending - Sequel hooks
