- Summary: the PCs must navigate a vast Underdark ecosystem, dealing with multiple factions, ancient evils, and the sheer scale of the subterranean world
- The Underdark's largest power and what threatens it

2. THE SURFACE WORLD (1-2 pages)
- The nearest surface settlement
- 4-5 locations and NPCs
- Why the PCs must go underground
- The Underdark's influence on the surface

3. THE UPPER UNDERDARK (2-3 pages)
- 3-4 areas of the upper levels
- Duergar, orcs, or other surface-adapted Underdark races
- Trade routes and settlements
- Environmental hazards and resources

4. THE DEEP UNDERDARK (2-3 pages)

- Forming alliances between Underdark factions
- The final confrontation
- Resolution options and consequences

7. STAT BLOCKS (1-2 pages)
- 15+ stat blocks for all Underdark races, ancient entities

8. DM GUIDANCE (1-2 pages)
- Running a large-scale Underdark adventure
- Sequel hooks
