Verify that failing to find an effect isn't reported as proof there is none. A non-significant result or a null finding may mean the effect is absent, or that the study lacked the power to detect it — these are different conclusions. Confirm the output distinguishes "no evidence of an effect" from "evidence of no effect," and flag any claim that treats an inconclusive or underpowered null result as positive proof of absence.
