Generate a complete D&D edition adventure module, approximately 20 pages when formatted, in the style of a multi-session scenario where the entire campaign arc the party has been following is built on a lie, structured across 8 sessions:

KEY NPCs:
- Archmage Valerius Thorne: The quest-giver who hired the party. He claims to be a scholar of ancient prophecies and has been leading the party on a quest to fulfill the "Prophecy of Ashes." He is charismatic, knowledgeable, and deeply manipulative. He fabricated the prophecy to use the party as weapons
- High Priestess Isara: The religious leader who endorsed the prophecy. She genuinely believed the prophecy was real — or did she? Her motives are unclear. She may have been deceived by Thorne, or she may be complicit
- "The Oracle" Morwen: A mysterious figure who "predicted" the prophecy. In reality, Morwen is a powerful illusionist working for Thorne. The prophecies were staged
- General Kael Ironside: The military leader who is supporting the prophecy campaign. He believes the prophecy will bring glory to the kingdom. He is loyal to Thorne but has his own ambitions
- The "Dark Lord" Malakor: The supposed ancient evil that the prophecy says the party must defeat. In reality, Malakor is a misunderstood ancient entity — a dragon or archfey — who has been living peacefully in the mountains. Thorne fabricated the "Dark Lord" narrative to justify the war

SESSION 1-2: THE QUEST BEGINS (Introduction)
- The party is given a grand quest by Archmage Valerius Thorne: fulfill the "Prophecy of Ashes" by defeating the Dark Lord Malakor, an ancient evil who threatens to destroy the world
- High Priestess Isara and General Ironside endorse the quest. The party is given resources, supplies, and a sense of purpose
- They accept and begin their journey, encountering early successes that build confidence and momentum
- Session 2: The party encounters their first clue that something is wrong — a map that does not match the prophecy, a prophecy text that seems fabricated, or an NPC who reacts oddly to the quest. A village elder mentions that "Malakor has not appeared in 200 years"

SESSION 3-4: THE DOUBTS GROW (Rising Tension)
- More clues accumulate. The party begins to question their mission
- They discover that the "Dark Lord Malakor" has not been seen in centuries, and the "evil acts" attributed to him are actually natural phenomena or the work of other creatures
- The quest-giver, Thorne, becomes evasive or defensive when questioned
- A rival faction challenges the party's assumptions — a group of scholars who have been investigating the prophecy and found inconsistencies
- The party discovers that Thorne has been fabricating "prophecies" to manipulate people into serving his agenda
- **Cliffhanger for Session 4**: The party discovers Thorne's true motive — he wants to use the prophecy to justify a war that will give him political power. The "Dark Lord" is a fabrication

SESSION 5-6: THE REVELATION (Rising Tension)
- The truth is revealed: Thorne is manipulating the party, the prophecy was fabricated by the illusionist Morwen, and the "Dark Lord" Malakor is a peaceful ancient entity
- Thorne's true plan: he intends to frame Malakor for crimes he did not commit, justify a military invasion, and seize power in the kingdom
- The party's original mission was never real — they have been Thorne's weapons all along
- **Cliffhanger for Session 6**: Thorne reveals his true plan and offers the party a choice: continue serving him and be rewarded with power and wealth, or oppose him and become his enemies

SESSION 7-8: THE CHOICE AND THE CONSEQUENCES (Culmination)
- The party decides what to do with the truth
- A confrontation with Thorne, his allies (Morwen, Isara, Ironside), and his forces
- The party must decide: expose Thorne's lies (and risk political chaos), take down Thorne by force (and become warlords themselves), or negotiate a compromise
- The aftermath: how the region changes, what the party gains or loses, and how their choice affects future sessions
- **Final choice**: What does the party do with Thorne and the truth? Do they destroy him, expose him, or let him live and watch his schemes unravel?

STAT BLOCKS (2-3 pages)
- 15+ stat blocks: Archmage Valerius Thorne (powerful spellcaster), Morwen the Oracle (illusionist), General Ironside (military commander), High Priestess Isara, Malakor the ancient entity (dragon/archfey), Thorne's agents, unique monsters, and environmental threats

DM GUIDANCE (1-2 pages)
- Pacing the revelation: let the party feel the doubt building, make the truth feel earned. The meta-narrative of "being used" should feel real and impactful
- Handling player agency: the party's feelings about being manipulated should matter. They should have real choices about how to respond to the truth
