Template

Refine the value proposition for the offering in {value_prop_context} into something sharp and true, since a fuzzy value prop is why good products fail to sell. (1) Start from the customer's problem, in their words, not the product's features, because a value proposition that leads with what the product is ("an AI-powered platform") rather than the problem it solves for whom is the most common and most fatal messaging error. (2) Name the specific target: for whom this is, since a value proposition aimed at everyone resonates with no one, and the discipline of naming who it's NOT for sharpens who it is for. (3) Articulate the core benefit as the change in the customer's situation — what becomes possible or what pain disappears — and make it concrete and believable rather than a superlative claim, since "the best solution" says nothing while "cut month-end close from ten days to two" says everything. (4) Ground it in a reason to believe: why this offering can deliver that benefit when alternatives don't, since a benefit claim without a credible mechanism is just a slogan. (5) Test it against the alternatives, including doing nothing, and confirm the value prop gives a real reason to switch, not a marginal one. (6) State the refined value proposition — who it's for, the problem, the benefit, and the reason to believe — the differentiation from the main alternative, and the claim most in need of proof, remembering the test is whether a target customer would immediately recognize themselves and their problem in it.
