1. OVERVIEW (1 page)
- Title (create an evocative name for a tower adventure)
- Level range: 2-6
- One-sentence DM hook
- Summary: the PCs explore a tall, mysterious tower where each floor has a different theme, master, and challenge, culminating in a confrontation with the tower's ruler
- The tower's creator and purpose

2. THE TOWER'S BASE (1-2 pages)
- The area around the tower
- 3-4 locations: village, tower approach, market, shrine
- 3-4 NPCs: tower watcher, local guide, scholar, merchant
- Legends about the tower's floors

3. THE LOWER FLOORS (1-2 pages)
- First 2-3 floors of the tower
- Each with: theme, inhabitants, treasure, traps, clues about upper floors
- Environmental hazards specific to the tower

4. THE MIDDLE FLOORS (2-3 pages)
- 3-4 middle floors with escalating difficulty
- Each floor has its own master and theme
- Puzzles and challenges that test different skills
- Treasure and lore about the tower's history

5. THE UPPER FLOORS (2-3 pages)
- The tower's highest floors
- The tower's ruler and their domain
- The ruler's plan and motivation
- Boss encounter

6. THE TOWER'S SECRET (1-2 pages)
- What the tower truly is: portal, prison, laboratory, or weapon
- The ultimate treasure or danger
- Consequences of defeating the ruler

7. STAT BLOCKS (1-2 pages)
- 12-15 stat blocks for floor masters, monsters, the ruler

8. DM GUIDANCE (1 page)
- Running a vertical dungeon
- Sequel hooks
