Interpret the customer feedback in {feedback_context} into an actionable signal, since raw feedback misread is worse than no feedback. (1) Distinguish what customers say from what they actually do and need: stated requests are often solutions customers invented for an underlying problem, so dig past the request ("add this button") to the job behind it ("I can't accomplish X"), because building the literal request while missing the real need is a classic product failure. (2) Weight the feedback by its source and representativeness: the loudest voices and the most engaged users are not the average customer, and the customers who churned silently carry information the vocal ones don't — a decision driven by the squeakiest wheel serves that wheel, not the market. (3) Separate signal from noise: a pattern across many independent customers is a signal, while a vivid one-off is an anecdote, and treating a single memorable complaint as a mandate distorts priorities. (4) Distinguish the feedback that reflects your target segment from feedback from customers you're not built for, since trying to satisfy everyone's feedback pulls the product apart. (5) Look for what customers aren't saying — the absence of enthusiasm, the features never mentioned — which is as informative as the complaints. (6) State the real underlying need the feedback reveals, how representative it is, and the action it justifies — resisting both ignoring feedback and obeying it literally.
