Generate a complete D&D edition adventure module, approximately 20 pages when formatted, in the style of a multi-session scenario where the party is accused of crimes they didn't commit, structured across 8 sessions:

KEY NPCs:
- Magistrate Corvin Ashford: The corrupt magistrate who has decided the party is guilty. Greedy, ambitious, and willing to manipulate the justice system. Secretly in league with the real killer
- Lady Isolde Marsh: A noblewoman who witnessed part of the murder but is afraid to speak. She wants to help but fears Magistrate Ashford's retaliation
- Father Tomas Greywatch: The temple priest who tends to the town's spiritual needs. He suspects the party is innocent but is bound by temple law and the magistrate's pressure. He secretly wants to help
- "Whisper" Nell: A street urchin/informant who saw something important but doesn't trust anyone. She can be bribed, convinced, or intimidated into giving information
- The Real Killer — Lord Cedric Vane: A merchant prince who is secretly a member of a dark cult. He committed the murder to cover up his cult's activities. He is highly connected and has many resources
- Detective Seraphine Cross: The magistrate's deputy, who is actually investigating the case seriously. She suspects someone else is guilty but is being pressured by Ashford to close the case

SESSION 1-2: THE ACCUSATION (Introduction)
- The party arrives in a mid-sized town, [TOWN NAME — "Havenbrook"], and settles in at the local inn called The Silver Stag
- Overnight, a powerful NPC — Lord Cedric Vane (a wealthy merchant prince) — is murdered in his chambers at his manor house
- The party is discovered at dawn — their weapons are near the body, or they have the murder weapon, or they were seen entering the building. Actually, Lord Vane planted evidence
- The town's authorities, led by Magistrate Corvin Ashford, arrest the party. They have 2 options: escape or fight their way out, or stay and try to clear their names
- Session 2: If they stay, they learn the investigation is controlled by the corrupt magistrate who has decided the party is guilty. They are held in the town jail. If they escape, they become fugitives in the town
- **Cliffhanger for Session 2**: A mysterious figure — "Whisper" Nell, the street urchin — slips a note under the party's jail cell door. It reads: "I saw something. Meet me tonight at the old mill. Come alone." But the party doesn't know if it's a trap

SESSION 3-4: THE INVESTIGATION (Rising Tension)
- The party investigates the murder — either from inside the jail, from the streets as fugitives, or through their allies
- They learn that the victim (Lord Vane) was involved in something dangerous: blackmail, a dark cult, or political intrigue
- Several NPCs in town are lying. Some are hiding something. One or two (Lady Isolde Marsh, Father Tomas Greywatch, Detective Seraphine Cross) may be willing to help
- The party discovers that the real killer is someone in a position of authority — Lord Vane himself is the killer, and Magistrate Ashford is covering it up
- Each clue the party uncovers puts them more at risk. The authorities tighten their grip
- A second crime occurs, and the evidence now points even more directly to the party. A second merchant is killed in the exact same manner
- **Cliffhanger for Session 4**: The party's safehouse is raided by the magistrate's guards. They escape, but one of their allies — Father Tomas Greywatch — is captured. Ashford gives the party 48 hours to confess, or the priest will be executed

SESSION 5-6: THE TRUTH AND THE TRAP (Rising Tension)
- The party discovers the real killer's plan and who they're working for (a dark cult called the "Crimson Eye")
- The killer knows the party is investigating and sets a trap — perhaps by framing them for a third murder, or by kidnapping an ally
- A chase or confrontation sequence. The killer may escape, or they may be captured temporarily
- The party must decide: expose the killer publicly (which could cause panic or political upheaval), handle it secretly (which risks being caught themselves), or flee entirely
- **Cliffhanger for Session 6**: The party discovers that the person who hired them to come to this town was involved in the murder. Their quest-giver was Lord Vane's rival, who wanted Vane dead and used the party as patsies

SESSION 7-8: THE RESOLUTION (Culmination)
- The final confrontation with the killer (Lord Vane), their employer (the Crimson Eye cult), or the corrupt authority figure (Magistrate Ashford)
- A public trial, a secret assassination, or a dramatic escape from the town
- The party's reputation is either cleared or destroyed
- The aftermath: how the town changes, what the party gains or loses, and how the adventure sets up future sessions
- **Final choice**: Does the party leave town or stay and rebuild their lives? Do they expose the cult and risk a larger conflict, or let it go?

STAT BLOCKS (2-3 pages)
- 15+ stat blocks: Lord Vane (the murderer, CR appropriate), Magistrate Ashford's guards, cult members, townsfolk, informants, Detective Cross (if hostile), a few unique encounters while on the run

DM GUIDANCE (1-2 pages)
- Running a "framed" adventure: give the party real agency to investigate and choose how to respond. Do not railroad them — let their choices shape the investigation
- Handling player frustration: make sure the clues are fair, the authorities are human (even if flawed), and there's always a path forward
- The moral complexity: some townsfolk believe the party is guilty. The party must decide whether to win their hearts and minds or ignore them entirely
