Template
Make an architecture decision for: {decision_context}. Step 1: State the decision to be made and the forces driving it: requirements, constraints, and quality attributes at stake. Step 2: Enumerate at least three genuinely different options, including the do-nothing option if viable. Step 3: For each option, analyze tradeoffs against each quality attribute from step 1: performance, cost, complexity, team familiarity, reversibility. Step 4: Recommend one option, explaining why its tradeoffs are acceptable and under what future conditions the decision should be revisited.
