The output should be a mountain fortress adventure with the following sections: 1. THE VALLEY BELOW (1.5 pages) - A valley town or village at the base of the mountain - 5-6 locations: inn, trading post, village hall, shrine, armory, farm - 5-6 NPCs: the town mayor, a scout who went missing, a local hunter, a priest of a mountain god, a nervous trader, a veteran guard - The town's relationship with the mountain: fear, trade, superstition 3. THE MOUNTAIN ASCENT (1-2 pages) - The approach to the fortress: treacherous mountain path - 2-3 encounter areas: avalanches, cold, mountain monsters, traps left by the fortress - Environmental challenges: altitude, cold, wind, loose rock - Clues about the fortress below 4. THE FORTRESS (2-3 pages) - 4-5 distinct areas of the fortress interior - Each with: - Name and description (cold stone, torchlight, frozen corridors) - Inhabitants (giant wolves, ice toads, frost giants, ogres) with stats - A challenge: puzzle, trap, social encounter, or combat - Treasure: gems, metalwork, trophies of conquest - The fortress's layout: barracks, armory, throne room, prison, temple - The fortress should feel militaristic and imposing 5. THE THREAT'S LAIR (1-2 pages) - The leader's chamber or the source of the evil - The primary antagonist and their plan - Boss encounter with tactical notes - What the antagonist wants and how the PCs can stop them 6. STAT BLOCKS (1 page) - 8-10 stat blocks for mountain/ice creatures, guards, the boss - Compact format 7. DM GUIDANCE (1 page) - Running mountain combat and environmental hazards - Tips for siege/infiltration scenarios - Sequel hooks
