Generate a complete D&D edition adventure module, approximately 8-12 pages when formatted, in the style of a subterranean/underground adventure with the following sections:

1. OVERVIEW (1 page)
- Title (create an evocative name for a caverns/underground adventure)
- Level range: 2-5
- One-sentence DM hook
- Summary: the PCs explore vast underground caverns, chasms, and tunnels beneath a mountain or plateau, encountering strange creatures, lost civilizations, and ancient magic
- The caverns' origin: volcanic, karst, ancient river systems, or magical formation

2. THE SETTLEMENT ABOVE (1-2 pages)
- A town or village built above or near the caverns
- 4-5 locations: inn, mining operation, cave guide's office, watchtower, church
- 4-5 NPCs: the mine owner, a cave guide, a geologist/scholar, a missing caver's family member, a local authority
- The settlement's economy and relationship with the caves

3. THE CAVERN ENTRANCE (1-2 pages)
- The approach to the caverns: cliffs, sinkholes, cave mouths, waterfall entrances
- 2-3 encounter areas: cave-in hazards, cave-dwelling creatures, environmental traps
- Environmental features: darkness, echoing sounds, underground rivers, stalactites
- The first cave levels: relatively safe, with signs of previous exploration

4. THE DEEP CAVERNS (2-3 pages)
- 3-5 distinct cavern areas
- Each with:
  - Area name and description (vast chambers, underground lakes, crystal formations)
  - Inhabitants: troglodytes, derro, cave fishers, purple worms, xorn, or similar subterranean creatures
  - A puzzle or challenge related to the cavern environment
  - Treasure: crystals, gems, underground river pearls, lost treasure
  - Signs of a lost civilization or ancient culture

5. THE ANCIENT CITY BELOW (2-3 pages)
- A ruined or inhabited city in the largest cavern
- The city's original inhabitants and why they live underground
- 2-3 areas of the city: temple, palace, marketplace, prison
- The current rulers of the city and their relationship to surface dwellers
- The city's secret: what they guard or what they seek
- Boss encounter with the city's ruler

6. STAT BLOCKS (1-2 pages)
- 10-12 stat blocks for cave creatures, city inhabitants, the boss
- Compact format

7. DM GUIDANCE (1 page)
- Running underground exploration: navigation, darkness, and sound
- Making caves feel vast and mysterious
- Sequel hooks
