Generate a complete D&D edition adventure module, approximately 20 pages when formatted, in the style of a multi-session investigation where a seemingly normal town has a dark secret, structured across 8 sessions:

KEY NPCs:
- Mayor Aldric Pembroke: The town's leader, who appears benevolent but is the architect of the town's secret. He believes he is doing the right thing — the town's prosperity depends on the secret, and he sees the people caught in it as necessary sacrifices
- Elder Thalia Greenweave: A kindly old herbalist who is secretly a victim of the secret. Her daughter was taken by the town's leaders years ago, and she has been searching for her ever since. She knows the truth but is too afraid to speak
- Sister Miriam: The temple priestess who runs the town's orphanage. She is genuinely compassionate and suspects something is wrong with the town. She secretly helps victims escape
- The "Harvest" — the town's dark secret: Every 5 years, the town sacrifices 3 "volunteers" to an entity beneath the town that keeps the land fertile and the town prosperous. The "volunteers" are actually chosen by lottery from the town's poor families
- "Whisper" — the Entity: A minor demon or fey creature that lives beneath the town. It is not evil — it is ancient, hungry, and bound by the town's ritual. It does not understand human morality and simply feeds on the sacrifice

SESSION 1-2: THE NORMAL TOWN (Introduction)
- The party arrives at a pleasant town called "Harvest Hollow" that seems idyllic on the surface. Friendly locals, bustling markets, and a strong sense of community
- The town is unusually prosperous for its size — the crops are bountiful, the businesses are thriving, and the people seem genuinely happy
- The party is invited to stay and enjoy the town's hospitality at the Inn of the Golden Sheaf
- Small oddities: the townsfolk are overly friendly, no children play outside, and no one talks about what happened "a year ago" (the last Harvest)
- Session 2: The party discovers a hidden door or a locked basement in the town hall. Behind it: a shrine to an unknown entity, or a room full of strange rituals and old records of past "volunteers"
- Elder Thalia Greenweave tries to warn the party in a hushed conversation: "Leave while you still can. The Harvest comes again in three days."

SESSION 3-4: THE DARK SECRET (Rising Tension)
- The party investigates and discovers the town is a cover for the Harvest ritual. Every 5 years, 3 people are sacrificed to an entity beneath the town
- Some townsfolk are willing participants — they believe the ritual keeps the town prosperous. Others are unwilling — they were chosen by lottery
- The town's leader, Mayor Pembroke, believes the ritual is necessary. He sees the people caught in it as unfortunate but necessary sacrifices for the greater good
- A victim is chosen for the next Harvest — a young girl named Lily, daughter of Elder Thalia. The party has a chance to save her, but doing so will anger the entire town
- **Cliffhanger for Session 4**: The party saves Lily from the Harvest ritual, and the town turns against them. The Mayor declares them outlaws, and the townsfolk arm themselves

SESSION 5-6: THE CONFRONTATION (Rising Tension)
- The party must decide whether to expose the secret publicly, help from within, or flee
- The party confronts Mayor Pembroke, who reveals his true motivation: the entity beneath the town is ancient and powerful. If the Harvest stops, the entity will wake in anger and destroy everything
- A negotiation, a fight, or a chase. The party discovers that the entity ("Whisper") is not a demon but a fey creature that was bound to the land centuries ago
- Sister Miriam reveals that the ritual has been going on for 200 years, and each Harvest makes the entity more powerful and more dangerous
- **Cliffhanger for Session 6**: The entity begins to stir. The ground shakes. The town's prosperity begins to fade as the ritual is disrupted

SESSION 7-8: THE RESOLUTION (Culmination)
- The final confrontation with the entity "Whisper" and the truth of the town's secret
- The party's choice: stop the ritual (and face the entity's wrath), continue the ritual (and live with the moral cost), or find a third way — perhaps binding the entity differently or negotiating a new arrangement
- The aftermath: what happens to the town, its people, and the party's reputation
- **Final choice**: How does the party handle the aftermath? Do they stay and help rebuild, or leave the town to deal with its own consequences?

STAT BLOCKS (2-3 pages)
- 15+ stat blocks: The entity "Whisper" (fey/demon hybrid, CR appropriate), townsfolk who become hostile, the Mayor, Elder Thalia, Sister Miriam, unique monsters from beneath the town, environmental threats

DM GUIDANCE (1-2 pages)
- Pacing the revelation: let the party feel the unease building, make the truth feel earned. The town should feel genuinely idyllic at first — the contrast makes the horror more impactful
- Handling moral complexity: some townsfolk are innocent victims, some are complicit believers, and the party must decide what to do with each group. The entity is not evil — it is ancient and hungry, and it does not understand human morality
